Tomorrow is Open House at Red River College and I’m excited to have some free time from school this summer. Tylor and I both have new websites. Have a look and keep your eyes open for an interesting collaboration from us later this summer!
For school we were asked to create an invitation for a (fictitious) event—my event was for a workshop on book binding hosted by the Walker Art Center. It is a 8 page booklet that folds out into a poster. I will post more photos soon on my website: tylorjreimer[dot]com.
I created two posters for our Historic Type Poster assignment in school. The posters were to take elements of the design movements and show some elements of the previous movements, while portraying a dichotomy. This one portrays the Bauhaus movement with the dichotomy of ‘Disciplined Chaos’. The other poster was based on the International Typeface Corporation and the dichotomy of ‘Love War’.
