Robert Samuel Hanson has a great illustrative style that employs flat shapes and minimal colour pallets. Through originally from the UK it seems he is now living and working out of Berlin, Germany. He’s done work for notable clients such as The Guardian, Monocle, The New York Times Magazine, etc.

There’s some really interesting, poppy work going on at bentheillustrator. Lot’s of really vibrant colour palettes and an overall playful feeling.

Frank Stockton is an illustrator based out of Brooklyn, New York. He has done illustrations for a lot of major magazines; The New Yorker, the New York Times, Esquire, Playboy and Rolling Stone. He’s got a blog where he actually runs you through his process a bit which is very useful to see. He uses a wide range of mediums which is refreshing to see.

Scott Kennedy, or Acorn as he calls himself, is a Melbourne-based illustrator originally from Vancouver. His style has Japanese influences, as well as an indigenous flair. He has a great attention to detail.

Chrissie Abbott, is an illustrator who lives and works out of East London. Her work is very trippy and seems to follow some of the aesthetics of the hippy psychedelic movement. She makes great use of collaged imagery and vivid colours.

Mike Perry is one of my favourite Illustrators/Designers/Makers. He has a few new updates as well. His work is playful and often full of colour. Have a look.

Yoko Furusho has some amazing fantasy-like, intense pen workings in her portfolio. There are some great colour palette’s going on as well.

Evan Owen Dennis, or as he calls himself, Next Season, is a director, designer, and illustrator living in NYC. Most of his work is motion graphics with a small selection of static illustrative and design work.

Chris Dent‘s drawings are incredibly intricate. This british Ilustrator has a large portfolio of work; mostly cityscapes, maps or buildings.
