Robert Samuel Hanson has a great illustrative style that employs flat shapes and minimal colour pallets. Through originally from the UK it seems he is now living and working out of Berlin, Germany. He’s done work for notable clients such as The Guardian, Monocle, The New York Times Magazine, etc.
Atelier Pastille Rose is another great Montréal, Quebec based studio. Their aesthetic is very current and they have a great attention to detail. They really go all the way to the finished product with some great production techniques and bindings.

Anna Wolf is lifestyle/fashion photographer based out of Brooklyn, New York. She has an impressive client list including YSL, American Eagle Outfitters, Urban Outfitters and Marque Creative. Most of her work is done on film and has a certain vintage look—it’s quite stunning.

For school we were asked to create an invitation for a (fictitious) event—my event was for a workshop on book binding hosted by the Walker Art Center. It is a 8 page booklet that folds out into a poster. I will post more photos soon on my website: tylorjreimer[dot]com.

Soulellis Studio is a New York studio specializing in brand identity and communications. Their typographic work for Cornell University is especially beautiful and vibrant—definitely a good use of Helvetica.

Great work for Féria du vélo de Montréal done by Identica‘s Montréal based studio. They have a nice collection of work including some annual reports, illustrations, and great type work.

Steelwool Bicycle Co. is a bicycle company based out of Ontario, Canada who specialize in steel-framed bicycles—more specifically in the form of single speed bikes. It was started by Thom Johnson and Will Ficner, who were frustrated with the lack of quality steel bicycles and decided to do something about it.

Studio Reizundrisiko, is the Berneck, Switzerland studio by Samuel Bänziger. His work is quite eccentric and reminds me of early 20th century design. The use of black and white photos, coarse halftone screens, and layouts. His typography is also very interesting and has some really unique work.

Frank Stockton is an illustrator based out of Brooklyn, New York. He has done illustrations for a lot of major magazines; The New Yorker, the New York Times, Esquire, Playboy and Rolling Stone. He’s got a blog where he actually runs you through his process a bit which is very useful to see. He uses a wide range of mediums which is refreshing to see.
